Current Solar Activity
The latest Sun image comes from the Solar &
Heliospheric Observatory.  The spacecraft was built in
Europe by EADS Astrium under overall management of
ESA.  It was launched on December 2nd, 1995.  It has
an unobstructed view of our star since it moves between
the Earth and Sun where the combined gravity of the
Earth and Sun keep it in a locked orbit. The craft is
approximately 1.5 million kilometers away from Earth
(about four times the distance of the Moon), in the
direction of the Sun.

The sun is showing a little activity.  I believe the sun has
a significant role in the upcoming earth changing events.
